Just wondered if anyone has any averages to compare
My current annual average (2010-2018) is 14.3 days
February is only at 1.8 days which i imagine is about 4 days below what it should be - this decade we must have had 2 or 3 of the most snowless winters ever.
Met Office estimated 30-year average for me is 15.5 days

Same as Carl, about 4 days here average since 1995. Though 2010 is a bit of an outlier with 29!

Re: Snow Lying Days
my snow falling days currently averages 20.7 days
that's for 2011 to 2018
For the same period, your figure Paul is 22.5 days
although mine does not include sleet only

Re: Snow Lying Days
I used sleet/snow falling as that was what the Met Office requested to be sent ( and still does ) . I would have to go through each spreadsheet to add up just the snow falling days seperatley ??rjd1000 wrote:my snow falling days currently averages 20.7 days

My figure is likley to be very "accurate"
