NOVEMBER WIND + RAIN

Post by darrog » Thu Nov 11, 2010 11:18 pm

As you all know there was a chap called Buchan who identified specific cold + warm spells at specific times of the year, eg: cold spell second week of Feb'.

Now there is a chap called darren Rogers who as identified the following:

1.) November - the whole of - will be forever wet and windy.
2.) July - the whole of - will be forever wet.

simples.

Next November, 1040+mb high pressure centered over Cumbria <10mm of rain now you've said it. Still It'll probably rain every day in July still!

p.s. my adage is that as soon as someone comes up with a weather adgae, exactly the opposite will then happen.

i suspect that you wouldn't go a small wager on your prediction for Nov' 2011 - I'll even give you hpa of 1015 for the month and =<50mm rainfall?

I had thought of naming these 'spells' that I have identified as 'Rogers wet and windy spells' - but that's enough about my personal problems!!!!!!
