Driest Day of the Year

Post by darrog » Sat Jun 04, 2016 7:52 pm

3rd June - the driest day of the year

My rainfall records commenced June 2007 and therefore I'm going into my tenth year and in that time the 3rd June as only recorded 0.2 Mm, once.

Paul - it was interesting last year, so just as interesting this year.

3rd June had 0.1 mm this year - so it keeps its record of the driest day of the year (in my records) and that is now after 11 yrs.

Will be keeping an eye on 13/14/15th now - in my temp records of 8 yrs (2017 makes 9), these three days have yet to notch up 20c, the only ones in June to do so.
Looks like 2017 may follow suit.
